  224.             dmBuffer API to return this information.

  239.             DMBufferInlineInfo to define a generic structure for

  242.             DMBufferDMRBInfo for backwards compatability with
  243.             DMediaInfo/ImageInfo.

  245.           +o Bug #474225. VlDMPoolRegister was not working properly
  246.             for OCTANE Digital Video.  vlDMPoolRegister associates

  285.        Because you want to install only the patches for problems
  286.        you have encountered, patch software is not installed by
  287.        default.  After reading the descriptions of the bugs fixed
  288.        in this patch (see Section 1.3), determine the patches that
  289.        meet your specific needs.

  291.        If, after reading Sections 1.1 and 1.2 of these release
  292.        notes, you are unsure whether your hardware and software
  293.        meet the requirements for installing a particular patch, run
  294.        _i_n_s_t.  The _i_n_s_t program does not allow you to install
  295.        patches that are incompatible with your hardware or
  296.        software.

  298.        Patch software is installed like any other Silicon Graphics
  299.        software product.  Follow the instructions in your _S_o_f_t_w_a_r_e
  300.        _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n _A_d_m_i_n_i_s_t_r_a_t_o_r'_s _G_u_i_d_e to bring up the miniroot
  301.        form of the software installation tools.

  303.        Follow these steps to select a patch for installation:

  349.        To remove a patch, use the _v_e_r_s_i_o_n_s _r_e_m_o_v_e command as you

  351.        reinstates the original version of software unless you have
  352.        specifically removed the patch history from your system.

  367.           +o Mediarecorder: On system with Octane Video installed,
  368.             if the window is positioned so the video display is
  369.             partly offscreen, you will get an error message if you
  370.             change the size of the video display.  To avoid the
  371.             problem, keep the video display fully onscreen.

  373.           +o Mediarecorder: On systems with Octane Video installed,
  374.             if you choose the "Serial Digital Source Dual" jack
  375.             when no signal source is connected to that jack,
  376.             Mediarecorder will display an error message.  However,
  377.             if you immediately choose another video option, the
  378.             program will unexpectedly terminate.  To avoid the
  379.             problem, do not choose the "Serial Digital Source Dual"
  380.             menu entry unless you have connected a signal source to
  381.             the jack.

  383.           +o Mediarecorder: The Indeo Video compression setting for
  384.             recording movie clips sometimes produces less than
  385.             satisfactory results, regardless of the quality
  386.             setting.  If the Indeo setting does not perform well,
  387.             you can work around the problem by choosing a different
  388.             compression setting, such as JPEG or Cinepak.
